The Emory Development Corporation  is thrilled to announce that our new medical facility is open and taking new clients.   Not only is this urgent care but also a medical practice.  Hunt Regional offers immunizations, wellness education, screenings, acute and chronic medical managment, etc.   Additionally, a full service laboratory and speciality care if needed.

Creating Resources Where There Previously Were None

  • Signage & Façade

    This grant is to encourage façade appeal and may be used for building improvements, including but not limited to facade upgrade, signage, electrical, window, door, and landscape improvements and other expenses related to the overall exterior appearance of the business.

  • Business Improvement

    The Business Improvement Grant incentive is used to promote new or expanded business development. The purpose of this grant is to assist with lessening the overall cost burden associated with opening or expanding a business.

  • Tax Abatement

    Tax abatement is a local agreement between a taxpayer and a taxing unit that exempts all or part of the increase in the value of the real property and/or tangible personal property from taxation for a period not to exceed 10 years.

  • Revolving Loan Fund

    The Revolving Loan Fund incentive is used to promote new or expanded business development. This loan is provided to the EDC through funds from the USDA.

  • Meetings / Agendas

    The EDC’s Regular Board Meetings are held the Wednesday before the second Tuesday of every month at 11:30 am in City Hall’s Council Chambers.

  • EDC Loan

    This loan is given to businesses who are in need of new equipment to help increase their overall sales and sales tax. The EDC Loan must be paid back on a monthly basis including interest.
