The Highway 69 Interceptor Project was a team effort between the City of Emory and the Emory Development Corporation and part of a $800,000+ USDA Rural Development Grant that enabled us to eliminate a lift station and reroute wastewater from the east side of Emory (including Brookshire’s, East Side Plaza, the Best Western Plus – Emory at Lake Fork Inn and Suites, and the Emory Business Park) directly to the sewer plant.
